(Or at least a job that doesn't require a college degree....) He wears a little more modest of clothing while working.}

Personality: 
<sup>Michi is a boy that just wants to live his life how he wants to. He doesn't take orders very well and will probably complain a lot. He's rather gullible and can be buttered up with compliments a little TOO easily. He has an obsession with trying to be cool. He'll try doing anything that looks cool and thinks will make him look cool in retrospect. It's easy to embarrass and aggravate him. Hes also got a soft spot for cute things/people.... Though he won't let on because guys are "supposed to be stoic and manly and stuff." (It's fairly easy to figure out though.)

History:
^{The Ayanokoji family consists completely of doll makers. Michi's mom and dad own a cozy doll store and are comfortable where they are in life. Michi is their one and only child.
As a kid, Michi was completely happy with the many dolls that kept the whole family company in their doll store. He saw all of them as his friends and spent day after day just talking and playing with them. He grew many connections with them, some deeper than others, and his parents watched on with happiness as well.
During his first years of school was fine as well. The boys didn't have anything to do with him, but the girls all liked him because he would play dolls with them without complaint like the other boys did. They were too young to quite realize that he went a just a little farther than just playing; thinking he was just really into it which made him a fun playmate. The years past however, and as the children grew, even the girls started thinking Michi was odd. By the time Michi noticed the change, it was a real surprise. He was told it was weird how into it he was, and they wouldn't continue playing with him if he continued to be "such an oddball" as they put it. Michi, being a kid who took words quite deeply, was hurt. He didn't want to not be the other's friends! He made himself tone it down and things went back to normal in his school life.
He started juggling the friendships between his human friends and his doll friends. People out in public, dolls while home or alone. Simple right? Maybe at first, but as he grew even older, the more he had a falling out with his doll friends. Even the dolls at home got less attention. People were so much easier to connect with-- they could move and play on their own accord. Not to mention befriending people didn't make a person look crazy in the public eye. The only dolls he really still kept in active touch in was Mami and Hisao, who were at the time, his parent's guardian dolls.
He was his own person who liked a lot of things the average boy liked, and while many doll makers often devote most of their life to dolls, he just wasn't one of them. His parent's were a little sad he didn't take to his skill as many others normally would, but they didn't want to hinder his dreams whatever they might end up being....
Until some of their dolls started reacting. Something they didn't take account of. Some dolls loved him so much that they actually became cursed dolls out of sadness of Michi no longer being there for them. The parents would take care of these dolls, but because they would regularly see Michi, and Michi continued to ignore them for the friendship of his fellow peers, the cycle just went on and on. Some would get past Mr and Mrs Ayanokoji's notice as well and actually get to Michi. Seeing them cursed only made him want to stray farther from the doll life and that would of course just make things all the worse.
As a teenager, things hit their peak. Michi would sometimes couchsurf between all of his friend's homes just so he could stay away from his own home. He was a gullible guy too so he had a lot of friends with bad influence and he'd do a lot of bad things because of them. One of these rather bad ideas lead him and a group of peers to skip school and hang out in an abandoned construction zone. It was here that the group was attacked by multiple cursed dolls; obviously all from the Ayanokoji's store. It was every man for themselves. All of his friends fled the scene, Michi trying to as well, but failed and was caught by the dolls; him being their actual target. None of his so-called friends even hesitated as they left him to quite possibly die. Thankfully the missing dolls went noticed, and by tracking his phone, his parents along with Mami and Hisao came to his rescue. While he was safe, he was left with a few scars, and it was then that enough was enough. Something needed to be done about this mess.
In the end they decided on having Michi getting his own place. Somewhere far enough away from the store to where the dolls could permanently calm down. It would help Michi as well considering he wouldn't have to deal with tons of dolls in his home nonstop. His parents hoped that maybe the space would help their son calm down as well and open his horizons a little more. They fretted about his being on his own so far away when he was barely an adult. This was quickly resolved however from a certain two someones.
Mami and Hisao.
During all of this mess, they still had a bond with Michi. His parents could feel it. They had for a little while honestly, but it wasn't until that very moment that the feeling was certain and clear. Their own guardian doll's links had been fading; wanting to become Michi's instead despite everything. Even more surprisingly, Michi seemed pretty alright with it. His relationship with them was akin to secondary moms. They had always been around and turned into humanoid forms each night, so the relationship had never severed like with the other dolls. It was mutually agreed upon and the links were made. Michi would live on with these two. Their lives at this point were uncertain, but things seemed to be taking a turn for the better at this point at the very least.
Present day, things have calmed down. Michi tries to focus on his life but takes the time to take care of Mami and Hisao. He's still a little hesitant to just befriend any old doll, but he's getting better at it with each passing day. Perhaps in the future he can take his behind-the-scenes skill in a positive light. Only time will tell.}

Extras:
^{. Michi will often carry around a large bag. Mami and Hisao often go into this bag as well as other things like his skateboard.
. Speaking of skateboarding-- it was something he learned from his old friends. He would be pretty good at it except the poor guy is a total klutz to the point he could trip over his own feet. He almost always has at least one bandage on his body cause he falls over and hurts himself so often.
. Michi knows how to play guitar, but again, he's not fantastic at it just okay. It's just a hobby though so it's not like it's a big deal.
. The thing Michi is good at is sewing. He learned as a kid and was just a total natural. It's an ironic talent really.
. Michi actually needs glasses. (As depicted in the extra of the application) He normally wears contacts but will go around in his glasses while at home and work. They have a cute red frame.
. Michi has a few scars from the last attack made by the dolls of his family's store. They're thankfully in places he can easily hide with clothes.
. Michi owns three cats. He started with one that be found abandoned- a female he named Meow. It turned out Meow was pregnant and had kittens. He ended up keeping two of them and named those two Chatto and Kowai.
. Because Michi's loyal item is a ring, and he often wears the ring on his ring finger, people often mistake him for being a married youth. It honestly just fits him best on that finger though.
. Finally, something I should probably stress: Michi does not hate dolls. He just doesn't want to have his whole life devoted around them. It's something that scares him and leaves him very apprehensive. Being a doll maker is fine for him, but he doesn't want to forget the outside world and everything in it other than dolls.}

History: Info: 
<sup>Hisao was made by Michi's mother. She's an interesting doll to be sure. She is made up of somewhat cheap cloth almost entirely but the mask is an actual mask that a human could put on themselves. It seems to be one of those masks that depict Japanese yokai from the olden days. She became Mrs. Ayanokoji's guardian doll in her early thirties.

Note: Yes Hisao is a girl. She's supposed to be kind of masculine however.</sup>
